Gerald Kirwan has made a very interesting career in the Bay Area in the last decade. In 2007, he entered the music industry in San Francisco working with various nightclubs at only the age of 15. At 16 years old, Gerald was putting together local teen club events at various nightclubs during the summer. He continued to plan club events for all ages, 18+ and 21+ by the time he was 20 years old. With over a decade of experience in the Bay Area club scene, Gerald took his skills to putting together concerts and tours for independent artists. In 2015, he founded Burd Management, a music service company that helps independent artists find various shows to perform at from local showcases to national tours all over. 

 

In 2016, Burd Management launched their “Before the Fame” showcase in Walnut Creek at the Red House Studio. BTF Festival was created to give all artists of all genres a platform to perform and network with other artists at no cost! Aside from local shows, Burd Management has thrown events with live performances by Yung Pinch, Landon Cube, AZ Chike, Ruby Ibarra, Afroman, Seun Kuti, Puma Blue, and more!
