William Corduroy Is if J Dilla, Herbie Hancock, Prince, and Weather Report had a mutant indie  baby. The super groovy late 70s mix tied in with a Modern twist, provides a sonic pleasure to the ear and a warm chakra opening experience to the soul. Recording and producing all tracks in his room, William Corduroy started out as a boredom experiment with envy late 2017 due to an incident causing him to get kicked out of college on a full ride music scholarship for tagging a wall. Will decided to make use out of his empty time and write music based on the events and emotions that have occurred from his situations and life experiences, but with a stylish flair. Fast forward to now, after evolving and really finding a unique sound in the indie world, he has dropped numerous singles and just released his debut EP ‘Wilson’ July 12th, while also playing a variety of sets with his live band, taking his jazz influence a step further because of the added saturation of a saxophone as well as the mix of trained jazz musicians, making the music take a left turn into a field of improvisation while still keeping to the roots of indie pop.
